I am okay.

The earthquake was not nearly as bad here PAP as it was south of here; much of Haiti is reportedly destroyed. Our neighborhood specifically was very lucky compared to the rest of the city, but our house is not really safe, so I am not staying there. We are currently staying at a restaurant secured by the UN, which is probably the best we can hope for at the moment. Please try not to worry too much, but prayers are certainly appreciated. Phones are not working right now and I don't know how reliable the Internet will be, but I will try to keep updating the blog.

  5. Julie julie julie ... this is awful! The reports coming from Haiti are so scary and sad, sad, sad. For a country without much food, medical supplies, water, anyway ... now this. What are you going to try to do ... come back here? Will you be able to get out? Thinking of you and Stephane and family every second. LOVE YOU!!!

  21. Julie, What do you need that we can send? Are you able to access your bank account? Is DHL able to make deliveries? If so, what is a good address/location? (I have an interview with DHL Thursday, 1/14.)

Hope you are all doing OK, especially with the electrical & water issues.

    Many prayers still being sent.

    Love you!

  23. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're safe!!!! For the first time ever in my life I am truly glad that we have computers - otherwise we would not have known if you and Stephane were dead or alive. Do you need anything, and if so, how do we get it to you? Is Stephane's mom OK? Love, love, love, love you, Meem
